To Our Employees, Customers, Vendors, and Visitors

As we all know, 2020 has been anything but ordinary. As an essential business, we were able to remain open throughout the early stages of COVID-19 to provide products and services deemed critical during the COVID-19 pandemic. Early on we took action to put safety, sanitary, and precautionary policies and actions in place to keep not only our employees, but our customers, and suppliers safe and healthy. We appreciate everyone’s diligent work to ensure all parties associated with McNeilus Steel remain safe and healthy.

With information and responses to COVID-19 continuously evolving, our policies and procedures evolve as well. We have implemented safety measures to promote safe encounters between everyone. Please see the sections below for policies and procedures required by employees, customers, vendors and visitors.

Employees

  • Employees must wear a face covering when moving throughout all McNeilus Steel facilities.
  • Practice social distancing and remain 6 feet apart from others. This practice includes:
    • Staggered break times for employees
    • Utilizing video conferencing, phone calls and emails when possible
  • McNeilus Steel provides cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer to all departments for employee use.
  • All high traffic areas and surfaces are cleaned and disinfected 1 or more times a day.
  • Drivers, loaders, and truck shop personnel clean and disinfect truck cabs before and after each shift.

Customers & Visitors

  • All visitors must wear a face covering when moving throughout all McNeilus Steel facilities.
  • Practice social distancing and remain 6 feet apart from others. This practice includes utilizing video conferencing, phone calls and emails when possible
  • McNeilus Steel provides cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer to all departments for customer and visitor use.
  • All visitors are limited to essential visits only and must be approved by management.

Vendors

  • All visitors must wear a face covering when moving throughout all McNeilus Steel facilities.
  • Practice social distancing and remain 6 feet apart from others.
  • All deliveries/pick-ups are required to call the facility’s receptionist and await further instruction.
  • Weather permitting, all steel delivery drivers will be instructed to uncover the material outside prior to entering the facility. Once in the facility, the driver is strongly encouraged to remain in their vehicle while being unloaded.
